The Solution
This installation features some gorgeous pops of colour, with oranges pulled from the sunset murals in the meeting rooms – in the chairs and even dappled within the carpet. This choice of colour brings a lot of warmth into the space, as well as items that are visually invigorating, moving away from the flatness of white minimalism.
Lighting softens the hard edges of the concrete and metalwork. Opting for ample and warm overhead lighting to fully illuminate the workspace.
Risks, Challenges and How We Mitigated Them
Working under a Main Contractor our major issue was distribution of products across floors as there was only one lift. We worked alongside the contractor and building manager to propose a booking service for use of the lift so we could then allocate times for deliveries, off loads and placement of items.
Added Value
Out of all the competition we were the only company that could offer a fully compliant bid at tender stage. This was important to the client as they had been working on this for two years and didn’t want to compromise on finish and quality.
Value Engineering
The project was fully specified, and the client wanted to keep with as much of the agreed product as possible. We switched out some European meeting chairs for UK manufactured at a better price point but very similar in design.
