Campus Landscape – Higher Education Event

Since April we have transformed our Clerkenwell showroom into an immersive tour of Higher Education spaces. This unique opportunity allows us as well as visitors to explore a diverse range of cutting-edge learning settings and furniture concepts sourced from across the sector.

To top this off we hosted a series of enlightening talks that reimagined the future of student life on campus. The journey began with two exclusive events, featuring renowned experts at the forefront of their respective fields.

And through our talks it allowed fellow professional educators, designers and staff in the field, to learn how to prioritise the student experience in your upcoming projects by networking with industry experts.

Levent Caglar, Senior Ergonomist and head of the Consultancy Department at FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association), initiated the conversation with a captivating presentation on the intricate relationship between Movement, Neurodiversity, and Wellbeing.

Continuing with our second and final talk in May, when Jim Taylour from Orangebox took the stage to explore “The 3P’s of Higher Education: Pedagogy, People, Place,” offering profound insights into educational design essentials.

Both sessions served as platforms to explore the latest findings and trends shaping the landscape of education design. Professional designers, educators and staff who attended were challenged to explore emerging findings, trends as well as opportunities aimed at enhancing pedagogical support through effective design strategies. 

These discussions set the stage for a brighter, more inclusive future for students and educators alike on campus.
